CROSSBOWMEN

Crossbowmen are an essential part of an Empire army for Warmaster. Two units are required for every full 1000 points of troops you wish to field.

So far I have two units completed for my army.
Both are painted as mercenaries, fitting in with the background of Empire troops in warhammer. I based them on the Marksmen of Miragliano and gave them scab red surcoats and brown trousers.
To complete my 2000 point army I need two more units. I'll probably paint them in the colours of state troops from Middenheim (blue and white)

The models in the two units I have completed are old test pieces that were designed when Warmaster was being playtested and that I was lucky enough to get hold of. The subsequent units will use the standard crossbowmen models.
